Position: Assistant Store Manager

LocationWe have an exciting opportunity for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Junior Accountant. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, as well as providing support to the accounting department in various tasks. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, generating financial reports, and assisting with month-end close. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software. What will you do in the role?

The candidate, reporting to the relevant Area Manager, will support the Store Manager in managing a team of approximately 6-7 people, assisting them in all store-related activities, with the objective of ensuring the commercial and service performance results of the restaurant, in line with company quality and quantitative guidelines.

The selected resource will be responsible for:

• Oversee reception and customer assistance;
• Ensure service delivery is in line with Company guidelines and that any service disruptions are managed.
• Coordinate front-line staff, assigning responsibilities and providing operational guidance for daily activities.
• Resolve routine operational issues and problems;
• Apply company procedures and verify them
• Proactively suggest actions aimed at constantly improving service quality;
• Manage the store's inventory during the work shift, ensuring its quality, assortment completeness, and assigned display standards.
• Place orders, ensuring that the point of sale is constantly stocked with adequate quantities of product.
• Manage fiscal closings;
• Perform inventories, entering inventory data into the management system;
• Support the store's operations, if circumstances require.

The ideal candidate possesses the following qualifications:

• A diploma from a hotel management school or equivalent training will be considered a preferential qualification.
• Good knowledge of F&B processes
• Previous experience of at least 2 years in the role of Assistant Restaurant Manager in structured companies.
• Good organizational, relational, and communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and stress management skills.
• Teamwork propensity
• Ability to experience the local area as if it were your own;
• Goal-oriented attitude
• Flexible working hours on shifts, and availability to work weekends and holidays.
